The Day I Joined a Search Party

A huge department store had just opened; and in celebration, offered a massive discount on launch day. As expected, the whole city and neighbouring city finished there.
From the smallest to the biggest item had a discount tag on it. But if you weren't aware, you just weren't aware; for with everything you bought, thinking how generous the owners might be, you already paid for it some type of way.

I loved their business strategy. Very smart people. And it was a hot summer day. People trooped in droves. The side attractions were, err, off the chain (or is it now hook?)

Yours sincerely went. After I had ignored the warning of a friend about avoiding public places; what with the unexplainable suicide bombings going on. Fear can't get a hold of me. "Mbanu". Not with all and Whom I believe in. It sure is a lovely place. You forget time exists while in there. It gave me new dreams.

After I had had my fill of touring, the search began. Cars were parked everywhere. The sun was scorching, incredibly mad. Almost a 40. I searched from one end to next and simply couldn't find it. My car. Or so I thought. I got pissed at myself. Got pissed that I was even pissed till I eventually had to push the 'piss' aside and calmed myself down. I realised I was not the only one in the dilemma.  And because a few others had also pushed their 'piss' aside as well, some of us found fun in it and turned ourselves to a search party. Goggle at this time, was not our friend.

Really, it is  amazing what unity can achieve.

Now, writing this post, I wish I was tech savvy.

Xoxo.
